More than a revival—SPZL takes emotional ownership of adidas’ heritage and redefines it for the here and now. The inspiration for the A. ASPDEN SPZL came from a catalogue image of the adidas Las Palmas: a plain, simple leisure shoe—the perfect blank canvas to build upon. Reworking takes place on the heel, eyestay and the off-white sole, giving it an authentic feel. Underneath the adidas logo on the sidewall, you’ll find the signature of Gary Aspden’s late father—a heartfelt tribute to honour his memory.
