Every SPZL drop captures a feeling—nostalgia reworked; memories made new. The Pampanga SPZL transports us to its namesake region in the Philippines, the place where the old adidas Squire sneakers sourced by Gary Aspden were licensed. The goal was to make this slightly awkward, disproportionate pair work, while staying true to adidas’ archival design language. A new sole and a revised upper later, this pair was born—styled somewhere between a traditional ‘70s runner and a classic adidas training shoe. Archive style. Modern soul.
