Part of SPZL’s summer drop, the adidas Spezial Burnden II sneaker builds on the terrace feel of the OG Burnden. It keeps the familiar DNA but sharpens the upper, replacing the wavy eyestay with a straight one, adding mesh to the tongue, and swapping the T‑toe for perforations with a wraparound overlay. The result: the adidas Spezial Burnden II nods to the OG, with a new, reworked look. A lesser‑known detail, the Burnden name was first used by SPZL in 2016, inspired by the Bolton district close to where the Spezial team was based—a quiet nod to SPZL’s Northern roots.
