Both adidas and Craig Green have a fascination with the human form. For the former, it’s from a performance perspective – an ever-evolving quest to create products that enhance rather than inhibit. For the latter, it’s about the beauty and function – how each piece works harmoniously. This collection, the second from the two partners, combines these two perspectives to celebrate the history of adidas by “experimenting with elements of the past to create new forms”. This all-white Graddfa AKH may just be the perfect example. It’s defined by the textured, scale-like appearance borrowed from the Kamanda sole and seamlessly applied all over the upper, while the transparent finish shows off the instantly recognisable details within – including Three Stripe branding and a terrace-inspired heel panel.
