Artisanal Japanese leather craftsmanship and cutting edge athletic technology collide in the fruits of the adidas x Hender Scheme collaboration.
Here, the sneaker giant’s groundbreaking ZX 4000 is given the Hender Scheme treatment by Ryo Kashiwazaki, the creative director of the innovative luxury leather brand. The sports shoe’s talking-point 4D printed midsole – developed using decades of data-led research – is left in tact and finished in pistachio green. Light-as-air mesh uppers are splashed with Hender Scheme’s signature vegetable tanned leather in jet black and buttery caramel tones, finished with rose pink stitching and rounded off with a supportive heightened heel panel for a shoe that can take high impact activity while looking effortlessly high fashion.
