For its first
adidas Consortium project, UP THERE turns Melbourne’s sporting past into something tangible. The silhouette lifts its DNA from a 1956 Melbourne Olympic track spike — “biscuit” midfoot, suede collar, and colours pulled straight from a pair uncovered in adidas’ Herzo archive — while the mesh nods to Aussie tennis legend Rod Laver’s shoes. But the foam tongue is the real homage: a precise recreation of the Australian‑made adidas ROME, finished with a “MADE BY UP THERE” label crafted for Melbourne itself.
