The black durabuck uppers provide a neutral base for the more vibrant hues to pop – a striking purple on the tongue and fire red across the midsole – and are finished with the famous Nike Air embroidery on the heel.
Since its introduction back 1990, the Air Jordan 5 has taken on a number of iconic makeups; it’s often difficult to pick a favourite, but thankfully three are combined to create this latest version. It takes elements from the Black Metallic, Fire Red and Grape – the three debut colourways – and teams them in a coherent manner, resulting in a sneaker that wouldn’t have looked amiss on the feet of MJ himself.
