Inspired by the works of French artist François Boucher
With quality, craftsmanship and innovation at the core of both brands, ASICS and Vivienne Westwood partner again to offer three pairs inspired by the works of French artist François Boucher. First referenced in the British designer’s 1990 ‘Portrait’ collection, the 18th Century Daphnis & Chloe covers the entirety of the HyperGel-Lyte’s upper; with an overwhelming celadon green restoring the rich colours of the oil painting. Owing a modernist look to the retro sneaker, bright orange flanks the branded stripes and lace loops, with Westwood’s primary coloured orb logo sitting to the rear. Wearing a TPU midsole, complete with GEL technology, the sneaker retains its original athletic-inspired comfort, with the modern tech and traditional artwork combining to transcend the ordinary.
