As part of an ongoing collaboration, Samuel Ross’ experimental label A-COLD-WALL* is reuniting with American footwear icon Converse to release the limited edition Aeon Active CX sneakers. This avant garde shoe pushes the boundaries of technology and design for a futuristic aesthetic. Its flexible, breathable uppers are wrapped in suede and leather for a streamlined look. To create a maximalist silhouette, these sneakers sit atop an impact-absorbing midsole that’s composed of reclaimed factory scraps and a translucent, curved outsole. To create a unique hue, these sneakers are submerged in vats of dye, meaning no pair are quite the same.
