Boston-based sneaker label New Balance and Facebook Group turned streetwear community hub, The Basement, collaborate once again to put their spin on the coveted retro runner - the 2002R sneaker. This ‘Moss Green’ edition marks the third pair to be released this year, making an appearance with the same deep black midsole. They’re decked out with a combination of water-resistant suede and leather uppers - giving them a stylish outdoorsy edge - and sit atop the infamous ABZORB sole. Elsewhere, the ‘N’ logo has been given the Basement treatment, attaching to the side walls with a minimal set of corner stitches - paying homage to the communities OG 9-bar logo - while other iconic hallmarks feature at the heel and tongue.
