Air Jordan and Travis Scott have a history of producing sneaker grails. The same can be said for the sportswear giant and Hiroshi Fujiwara’s Fragment, too. All three of them come together this season, and you can guarantee the result follows suit. It’s the iconic AJ1 that’s brought under the spotlight, and there are clear nods to both La Flame’s and the godfather of streetwear’s design codes. The first is the colour blocking — it’s mismatched and coloured in white, blue and black to reference Fujiwara’s go-to aesthetic. Perhaps the most notable detail, though, comes by way of that Swoosh, which is supersized and reversed on the lateral side, just like Scott’s AJ1 that released in 2019. There’s a stash pocket at the collar, too, and co-branding at the heels — a Cactus Jack face at one, Fragment’s lightning bolt at the other — to complete things.
